SIM HOUSE House Rules

These house rules help everyone get the most out of the space. They sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy — booking a session means you've agreed to all three.

Session length and handoff

Sessions run 45–50 minutes even though your reservation block is one hour. The remaining minutes are reserved for handoff — please plan to wrap up a few minutes early so the next guest can settle in on time.

Leave the space ready

We're a self-service space, and the next guest is right behind you. Before you leave:

  • Gather your trash and recycle what you can
  • Return equipment to its starting position
  • Wipe down any surface you used for food or drink

A quick reset takes a minute and keeps the experience great for everyone.

Cancellations and changes

You can cancel or move a booking up to 24 hours before your session at no charge, subject to the cancellation policy attached to the service you booked.

If you cancel inside the window, what happens depends on how the booking was paid for:

  • Member-included sessions — the credit applied to the booking is forfeited; no card charge.
  • Member sessions paid with a credit purchased separately — the credit is forfeited.
  • Pay-per-session bookings — the card on file may be charged per the policy shown at checkout.

The exact slabs (e.g. partial refunds inside vs. outside the window) are shown on the booking confirmation and on the cancel screen so there are no surprises.

Respect the space and each other

Treat staff, other guests, and the equipment with care. If something is broken, unsafe, or just not right — let us know. We'd rather fix it fast than have it linger.
